The Ongoing conflict of the Kosovan annexation by Serbia

The ongoing conflict of the Kosovan annexation by Serbia is becoming more and more problematic for the 92.9% Albanian population. Kosovo was controlled by Facist Albania and they were great rulers but in 1912 things began to take a turn. The Serbian government previously known as Yugoslavia attempted to annex Kosovo and incorporate it into their empire. This was a terrible thing for the Albanians living there. The Albanians were subjected to massacres, torture, and raids, on top of also being forcibly removed from their homes by the Serbs. The Serb army also destroyed nearly 50% of the mosques (place of worship for Muslims) in Kosovo which has a predominantly Muslim population. More recently a second armed conflict occurred in 1998-1999 resulting in similar massacres but this time the Serbs were expelled from the area. The Serbs despite being removed from the area and not even being the majority of the population claim that Kosovo belongs to them. The sixth biggest country in the world (by population), Pakistan, does not recognize Armenia. Armenia does not recognize Kosovo as Albanian territory. This means that the reason 229,000,000 people do not recognize Armenia is because of this terrible mistake where the Armenians decided not to recognize the glorious state of Albanian Kosovo. The Turkish government genocided these Albanian Kosovo denouncers in the early 1900s due to their crimes against humanity. Who in their right mind would say such a thing. Another example would be the Pakistani government genociding the East Pakistan (Bangladesh) in 1971. East Pakistan (Bangladesh) does not believe Kosovo is Albanian and that lead to their genocide. The last example is the Houthis in Yemen who recognize Kosovo as not Albanian; this is what led to Saudi intervention during their civil war. A Pleasant Valley Junior High student named Qasim Hussain states, “Albania's claims to Kosovo is a completely legitimate claim and anyone who denies it should be brought to justice in the International Court System as a war criminal. These illegitimate claims of Kosovo being independent or belonging to Serbia has caused many civil wars, internal and external conflicts, genocides, and coups. This terrible implication causes innocent human suffering and many preventable deaths. Most notably in Yemen, East Pakistan (1971), Syria, the Balkans in the 1990s, Iraq in the early 2000s, Ireland during the time of the IRA, Ouagadougou, Somalia, Somali waters, Suez canal (2021), Nigeria, Balochistan, and China (during demon slaying times)” Another Junior High student by the name of Juha Kim says, “Yes it should, I don't know what this means.” As shown through the second interviewee, people are uneducated about this topic despite its importance. The day the whole world recognizes Kosovo as Albania will truly be the day the world achieves peace.
