Weeks 1-4 are the most conceptual weeks & make sure to make your own notes while watching the lectures.
Make sure to practice the case studies! Don't just watch the lectures & move to the next week. You will be doing the same kind of analysis in the OPE & even in the End term exam some simple analysis will be there.
Make sure to watch the case study presentation lectures & take notes.
Start working on the project from the very beginning. Create a google doc & plan the project.

i) Quiz-1/2 both has syllabus of week-1 to 4, and only best 1 will be chosen between both of them, so you can study BDM either in quiz-1, or in quiz-2.
ii) If you achieve more than 50-55 in quiz-1 of BDM, then no need to study for quiz-2, because this much marks are enough to get a S grade in BDM. Try to score good marks in quiz-1 itself, so that it will be light for you, otherwise scoring good in quiz-2 may pressurize you(just like me).
iii) Next, from week-5 in BDM, whatever the professor does in lectures you have to practice that on Excel, it will be easy for you to go with the flow. Like creating PIVOT TABLES (Milind sir's fav thing), pareto chart, scatter plots etc. these all are taught in the lectures and done by them, so do this with them only.
iv) Try to focus on 1st 3 assignments of BDM, which will be starting from week-5 onwards, because they will be more scoring and you can achieve 100/100 in it, but last 2 assignments of BDM are bit tedious and lengthy for you to score full marks in it.
v) Highly recommended, submit all the 5 assignments of BDM, because best 3 assignments will be converted to 30 and if you have submitted rest 2 assignments also, then bonus of 5 marks will be rewarded. Don't miss this thing.
vi) While preparing for Quiz-1/2/End term, try to solve the previous term questions that will be more helpful to get hand on , how questions comes in exam. Week-1 to 4 have more weightage even in end term, so week-1 to 4 should be studied by you thoroughly.
vii) In OPPE, the questions will be asked as asked in assignment 2 and 3, so do that assignments very nicely on Excel, then you can score in OPPE as well. Also while going through OPPE, read the instructions carefully, because they will tell you to paste the working excel sheet also with the answers, don't forget that to do.
viii) Capstone Project is basically the analysis done by you on the data which you collect, from May term onwards they are making it compulsory for everyone to submit the project. Study and have practice till week-8 then you can do the analysis and make the project nicely. Here you have to make 1 page doc where you will summarize whatever you did in the data, about business, collection of data, chart analysis, interpretations, recommendations in max to max 350 words-1 page doc. Secondly, Excel where you will be doing all the analysis, trends, charts, and at last a PPT of this whole will be made by you which you will present while giving viva. For examples, they will be providing you the capstone project of previous batch for you to get on idea of how to make and present the project. Minor changes they can do in rules, but all together the project will be same.
ix) Don't skip viva of the project, it will be taken as a violation and you have to pay penalty, they will deduct some marks from your whole score.
x) Also, try to attend both OPPE and project because that will also reward you 5 bonus marks.
xi) In end term, the mock questions will be damn helpful and previous term questions as well, they will be the booster of your marks so do practice it and then go.
xii) Previous term live sessions are also very very useful, you can go and watch that also(recommended by my side, because I did the same and it was very useful).
xiii) BDM is the most wonderful subject and the course Instructors team is also amazing so if you go with the flow, it will return to you a marvelous result giving you "S" grade in it.
