Synopsis

For four weeks I shadowed a local Illinois judge to gain exposure about the law and be introduced to careers in the courtroom. Judge Julie Aimen works in traffic court and I was able to witness many cases ranging from people who drove on a suspended license to DUIs. It was a very rewarding experience and I met so many people in very different roles. I learned so much and it was a great opportunity.
