The goal of Writing Club is to both improve your writing skills and make writing enjoyable. We expect club members to be involved with each other; this includes collaborating on writing activities, sharing ideas, and critiquing others' work. We also include competition opportunities. They will be optional but will give club members a goal to work towards. All forms of writing will be covered; including poetry, fiction, and essays.

Meetings are on Thursdays, during lunch and smart lunch (12:45-1:45) in Mrs. Talbert’s room.

This year we will be selecting a Club Vice-President. If you are interested in this position, please contact us.

Google Drive Folder

Club members are recommended to share their works with the club through a Google Drive Folder. This way others can read it and encourage the author to continue writing. This is also how you can get help with or improve your writing on a personal basis.
