Spidey Messages for Kids in Quarantine!

Spiderman: into the Spiderverse's Peter B. Parker is sending kids who are in quarantine personalized voice messages! Well, it’s more like the voice actor of Peter B. Parker, Jake Johnson, BUT still! This is definitely something to smile about!

Jake Johnson is spreading kindness to kids, by sending them words of encouragement while they have to be home from school. In a Good News Network article titled, “Spiderman Voice Actor is Offering to Record Encouraging Voice Messages for Kids During COVID-19 Lockdowns” it says, “Jake Johnson posted on Instagram earlier this week saying, ‘Since the quarantine, a lot of parents have DM’d me saying they’ve been watching Spiderverse with their kids. A lot. So here is my idea. If your child is home and wants a quick encouraging message from Peter B. Parker, then send me an email with their name and I’ll try and send over a short voice note’” (1). It is important to give kids hope and encouragement in times like these, and Jake Johnson is definitely achieving this. In spreading kindness to kids, it is making them feel a lot better about this situation we are in.

We should all be a little more like Jake Johnson during this time and reconnect with people. How about sending a letter or an email to someone who seems like they need encouragement?
