A login and password are required for MANY of these sites and several of these sites can ONLY be accessed from within the school. When logging into account, users of this site should login to Google Chrome. Resetting of password - Contact the classroom teachers for all passwords except the Google Apps password. For the resetting of passwords relating to Google Apps, contact the Webmaster or Educational Technologist.
The DoDEA contract allows only K-5 educators and K-5 students access to Seesaw
Regular classroom teachers with rostered students are added automatically through daily integrations between Aspen and Seesaw
K-5 Teachers who do not have students rostered in a class (e.g. ESOL, SPED, speech-language pathologists, paraprofessionals) are not added automatically due to technical limitations thus must be added manually.
ETs do not manually add any K-5 regular classroom teachers or students.
If students are missing, troubleshoot the issue through Aspen to make sure that the student is added automatically as part of the daily integration (sync) between Aspen and Seesaw.
ET is not allowed do anything related to "manage roster sync"
ET cannot "approve" any requests from regular classroom teachers or any students
You might see notifications in the top right of the Admin Portal where it says, for example, "5 Teachers Have Not Been Added to Your Subscription,"
NEVER approve regular classroom teachers as it could cause data issues.
Classroom teachers and student accounts are “rostered” automatically through sync with ASPEN
ET Can Approve or manually add teachers who do not have rostered classes
For Example, ESOL, SPED, speech-language pathologists, and paraprofessionals
REMIND TEACHERS of multiple age students that Seesaw is only for K-5 students
If, for example, a SPED teacher is manually added who also serves students outside of K-5, the teacher CANNOT USE Seesaw with those non-K-5 students
DO NOT use Seesaw with PreK, SS, 6-12 grade students
Non-K-5 student use is a violation of our contract and exceeds the number of allotted users.

Will teachers lose activities when they switch from free Seesaw to DoDEA's enterprise version?
No! Seesaw will not overwrite teacher accounts. As long as they are using their district email domain, their free Seesaw account will be automatically upgraded to Seesaw for Schools.
