Students and Parents,
During the month of May, the focus will be on careers. Students should be exposed to the many choices that are possible. Students may use the resources throughout the pages to learn about jobs. While watching the books or videos pay attention to what the person does at the job, if special clothes are worn, if special tools or equipment is needed, the work environment and what is done at the job. Students may want to think about what they enjoy doing and what future jobs or careers would be a good match. Example - If a student likes animals….they might be a zoo keeper, zoologist, farmer, vet, pet boarder, animal trainer, dog walker, wildlife rehabilitator, animal control officer, marine biologist....the possibilities are endless!
