“Trash Tasks”- Script

Jacob:

Hi, I’m Pike Mirks and welcome to a brand new episode of Trash Tasks. People say this show has no budget (Some gimmick such as brick falling), and personally, I think they are absolutely correct.

Here my 3 contestants compete against each other for a prize worth 500 grand.(Cough) If you’re talking about Iranian Rial.

Let's meet the contestants and get on with the show. I present to you; Finnian Drewitt,(Applause) Safiyah Austin-Phillips(Applause) and Alfie Porter (Applause). 

It’s time for the first task of the show.

Before the show we gave you all £5 and told you to buy the most unusual item for our special guest who’ll judge each item and reward them with the maximum of 3 points, at the end of the show, the winner will take home the amazing prize.

Safi, you look a little different, is that a new haircut?

Apparently Alfie has no idea how to blow balloons. I mean, seriously, that was pathetic from all of you. (Drill into them lad)

3 points to Finn, 2 points to Safi, and 1 to Alfie. BUT, can we have a look at the end of Finn’s attempt.

Welcome back to Trash Tasks, where our 3 contestants have been blowing up a copious amount of balloons for a massive prize. 

Now let’s see how they got on with our next task, where things might get “chilli”

Finn, that was disgusting. You were actively making it worse by keeping it in your mouth, What were you thinking? 

What do you mean he drank the milk? 

Technically, there was nothing in the rules to say that he couldn’t drink the milk. So i think, in the spirit of the game, Alfie takes the 3 points. Safi takes the 2 points and Finn takes 1 point.

Our contestants have valiantly attempted our tasks and now it is time to reveal who will go on to face our final live task ‘Call the Bluff’ in hope of winning our grand prize. And here it is…

Congratulations Alfie and Safi. Will you please head up to the podium where I will explain the rules to you.

Alfie and Safi, this is a bluffing game where infront of you there is a box and a (carrot) inside one of these boxes. Such a thrilling game I know. 

The aim of this task is to be the one with the (carrot) in your box. Again, this is a game of bluff. First one of you can look inside your box. So Safi please go ahead and look inside your box and see if you have the (carrot) or not. You now have to convince Alfie to either keep their box or to swap it. You have 1 minute. 

Let's play, ‘Call The Bluff’

So Alfie do you want to keep your box, or swap your box?

Alfie, please open your box and reveal whether it contains the (carrot) or not.
