Third graders are expected to memorize the multiplication facts (respond within a couple seconds), but may reason through division (i.e. “12 ÷ 4 =?  Well if 4 X 3 = 12, then 12 ÷ 4 must equal 3.”)  When tested they will have to read the fact and provide the answer.

           The cards are organized in sets. 

            Set A - 2s

            Set B - 5s

            Set C - 3s

            Set D - 4s

            Set E - 1s and 0s

            Set F - 9s

            Set G - Leftover 6s, 7s, 8s (with 6, 7, 8)

            Set G+ - Review 6s, 7s, 8s (with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9)

            Set H - 10s
