Science Research PortfolioÂ
Beginning in sophomore year, I started science research and began my research journey. I have worked along side my teachers and my mentor to create and develop my project in behavioral science.Â
My research focuses on the connection between acne and body image/quality of life. My topic stems from my own struggles with adolescent acne.Â
I am also looking into the relationship between different acne remedies and quality of life.
My whole experience with the Fox Lane Science Research program has been absolutely amazing, and I plan on continuing my science research career all throughout high school and hopefully in college!
After high school, I want to attend college and study to become a Physician Assistant in cosmetic dermatology!
Outside of Science Research I play volleyball, run track, and ski. I am the president of the Girls in STEM club at my high school and I love to volunteer at my local elementary school. Outside of highschool I love to travel, design clothes, and hangout with friends and family!
I am so grateful that my high school offers this amazing program that allows me to research a topic in science that I am passionate about!
