Stuart Hall’s spring break, which ranges from March 8th through March 17th, is a time for much excitement. One fascinating facet of spring break is where our borders are heading. Whether it be staying local, or travelling to North Carolina or Florida, STU's boarders have varied spring break plans and fun Easter traditions.
As for where our borders are headed, Ines C. went, “To my friend's house, With Flannery.” As for Easter plans, Ines reports, “In my family, we hide candies, prizes, or clues for bigger prizes or sometimes we don't even celebrate it (Easter). Also, one week is for Easter, and the next week is the holy week and you have to go to seven churches in your city, or go seven times to a church. We also paint eggs, but we my family don't hide the eggs.” Benny T, who does not celebrate Easter, went to Florida for spring break to relax and spend time with family. Theo G. went to North Carolina, and then to their home. Theo does celebrate Easter, and named several traditions that included, “Easter baskets on Easter morning, plus brunch.”
Overall, many of our boarders have unique celebrations over Easter time, and many people at Stuart Hall are enjoy a well-deserved spring break.
