Parent: Stacia Griffin, parent of Theo Griffin
Stacia Griffin’s child, Theo Griffin, has been attending Stuart Hall since 2022. She appreciates that Theo is well taken care of while attending Stu. Mrs. Griffin had originally aspired to be a teacher and is currently a registrar at a public elementary school in Arlington, VA after being a stay at home mom for 20 years! She embodies our citizenship grad goal through her involvement in her community. In her profession, she most appreciates, “Investing in children’s lives and the joy that comes from interacting with little people.” Mrs. Griffin enjoys reading, taking care of foster kittens, embroidery, and new wave 80’s music!
Student: Sckolher Berry
Sckolher Berry, class of ‘26, has attended Stuart Hall for almost five months. She began at Stuart Hall for a fresh start and a fulfilling education. Sckolher aspires to be, “A more resilient, wise, and giving person after Stuart Hall, because the world can never have too many good people.” She most appreciates the people within Stuart Hall’s community but dislikes the hassle of carrying her books. She would like to, “Remind everyone to never hold back on a kind gesture. Epictetus says: 'Follow through on all your generous impulses. Do not question them, especially if a friend needs you. Do not hesitate!'” Sckolher is also a perfect example of Stu’s creativity grad goal. This can be seen through her enjoyment of literary classics, active pursuit of knowledge, her affinity for the classical guitar, and her excellent chess skills. She also enjoys music from bands like (but not limited to) Massive Attack and Oblique Occasions!
Teacher: Hanna Parisi
Hanna Parisi has been a mathematics teacher at Stuart Hall for two years. She originally aspired to be a highschool mathematics teacher and her dream came to fruition here at Stuart Hall. Ms. Parisi easily encompasses the Critical Thinking grad goal through her love of STEM and education. She greatly appreciates the faculty and staff and loves the hard working students who, “make teaching feel like second nature.” She least appreciates the small classrooms within the math department. Ms. Parisi loves hiking, traveling, country music, and playing with her dog (the infamous Cleo).
