About Our Director

Ms. A'Keyah Williams

This is A'Keyah's fourth year of teaching and first year as Atlantic's Theatre Program Director. She was in the 5th grade at Rolling Green Elementary School when Mrs. Saundra Hyland casually mentioned to her that she should audition for the Theatre Program at BAK MSOA. Instead of shrugging off the suggestion, A'Keyah began to work with Mr. David Hyland (Current Dean of Theatre at Palm Beach State University) and learned her very first monologue. Since that audition, A'Keyah has attended BAK MSOA, Dreyfoos SOA, Fordham University, and the London Dramatic Academy all for acting.

As a product of the Palm Beach County School District, A'Keyah understands the importance of reaching students when it counts. She acknowledges the fact that high school is a pivotal moment in life when paradigms get shifted and fundamental views are developed; and it is her mission to raise up a generation of truth seekers who will shake the foundation of the world with their art. She is incredibly grateful for all of the instructors, classmates, and mentors who have all been major influences in her life thus far.

Professionally, she can be seen in the Feature Film Me Little Me as the leading role of Mya. This film is a "slice of life" depicting what happens when you can't put life on hold to heal. It is currently touring the US film festival market appearing at places such as: SXSW 2022, Bentonville Film Festival, deadCenter Film Festival, Heartland Film Festival, Memphis Indie Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, and Urbanworld Film Festival.
