The goats bleat out.
There's not enough left for them to bleed out.
It gobbled up our yummy livestock flesh.
How dare it eat?
We must avenge our stolen meat.
Its beady eyes, how evil!
Brown skin with thick dark hair, how vile!
From its hellish birthplace,
now residing in our forest,
with its beastly family. How can we let them rest there?
For taking our resources,
we gather men, muskets, and horses.
Tie his claws behind his back;
his tree trunk arms resist.
A bullet between his eyes! Yes, the monster will cease to exist!
His she-beast mate and beast cub sob.
Her husband's, his papa's, mighty heart stops.
The men stop cheering as red blood graces their shoes. Was El Chupacabra, perhaps, human too?
