Mr. Tuntland, commonly known as Mr. T, started teaching in the Archdiocese in 2009. He started at St. Mary School in Buffalo Grove, where he both tuaght and was the Technology Coordinator for the parish and school. He began his time at St. Theresa in 2018 as the Technology Integration Specialist. He has taught at all levels including Junior High math, english, all the while holding down the technology front. His vast experience in working with technology and building systems has instilled a passionate love relationship with the mighty balance of budget and toys.

He has extensive background knowledge with the Google Education system, having been working with it since its inception. He has enjoyed the challenges of creating an environment that is rich and user-friendly.

He maintains that Technology is a tool that is interwoven into our society and must be used as such. While the temptation to play is great, isn't every toy, the need to make healthy choices is what our challenge is when teaching.

When not in the classroom, Mr. T enjoys playing hockey, coaching swimming and diving, and also is an avid scuba diver with his favorite sites being caves and shipwrecks.
