Our goal: The main goal of the TC22 is to bring together the leading scientists and engineers in field of tribo-mechanical fracture to provide a platform for discussion between them, and to host idea-focused presentations which covers the latest achievements, the current state of the art, and the future research framework for in-depth understanding of the effects of tribological features on fracture behaviour of materials.
Motivation and objective: There are many researchers/engineers who are actively working on this multidisciplinary subject. TC22 will set up meetings to establish cooperation between them to exchange new intellectual ideas in the area of tribo-fracture and fatigue.
TC22 foucses on the interaction between tribological properties and fracture behaviour of materials.
The main topics:
• Fretting fatigue
• Fretting/wear fracture
• Contact fatigue
• Rolling contact fatigue
• Impact fatigue
• Micro-indentation fracture
• Fracture of tool materials
• Scratch fracture

About ESIS Technical Committiees (TC)
ESIS Technical Committees (TC) work on different aspects of Structural Integrity matters. They are the most important part of the ESIS organization. Their activities are supported by ESIS. The strength of each TC is indicated by the number and scientific quality of Committee members together with their output in terms of reports, recommendations, procedure documents, Special Technical Publications, and the regularity of their technical meetings.
