TC13 Scope
TC 13 is one of an important component of ESIS, the task of which is to facilitate the ESIS objective realization. Within the activity boosting the development and knowledge in all aspects of the structural integrity, as well as promoting this knowledge all over the world in order to raise the safety and operation capacity of engineering equipment, some components and structures TC proclaims such objectives:
to create a friendly academic forum setting for studying and training of young researches supporting their professional growth;
to provide a favorable atmosphere in academic forums, where participants can present and share ideas, exchange their knowledge in the atmosphere of mutual confidence and respect;
to facilitate the multi-discipline environment, where the scientists and experts can discuss different problems dealing with all aspects of the structural integration;
to promote the sophisticated international experience, where the cultural, ethnic backgrounds, ideas, values, and beliefs are welcome and honored;
to create the international environment for different academic/professional approaches and discussions on the latest developments in all spheres of operation of the engineering equipment, some components, and structures;
to provide assistance to young scientists and post-graduates to submit their investigations and discuss them in the favorable academic and professional community at different international institutions;
to facilitate the organization and coordination of ESIS summer schools on the fracture mechanics;
to facilitate the organization of special workshops and mini-symposia for young scientists, post-graduates within the international and national conferences;
to facilitate the further attraction of young scientists and post-graduates for participation in the national conferences held for young scientists and post-graduates.
The TC 13 mission is to promote the internationalization and new possibilities for studying and training of young researchers facilitating their professional growth in the academic environment, as well as improvement of cooperation with the international universities-partners in the field of up-to-date training, investigating and international cooperation.
