TC05 Dynamics of fracture and structural transformations

The activities of TC5 include the exchange of expertise in all aspects of dynamic fracture, high-strain rate material properties, and the development of agreed test methods in these fields, leading to ESIS or International standards. The TC5 gathers researchers from experimental, analytical and numerical fields. Members of the TC5 work on both purely theoretical and applied problems of dynamic fracture of materials.
