Dear Parents/carers,

We’ve had another great week, our pupils continue to work so hard it’s great to see. Earlier this week I wrote to you to share the arrangements for our final day of module 6, I attach the letter here for your information.

This week we have concluded our Year 11 and Year 13 mocks and our teachers have been especially busy marking these, we look forward to sharing the results with pupils over the next week. A reminder that on Thursday 7th December we have our Year 11 parents evening, pupils will also collect their mock results on arrival. Please see the letter that has been issued to parents previously with all details of the online booking system. We look forward to seeing you there. 

Within the final week of term we also are hosting two further events, these include the parent voice forum on Tuesday 12th December, all details are attached here and the Christmas show on Thursday 14th December, full details have been posted on our social media pages.

Next week I will be writing to all parents regarding gathering some further information relating to travelling to and from the academy.. We are very aware that the entrance to the academy at peak times becomes extremely busy and very difficult for both parents dropping off and pupils leaving. We need to ensure the safety of all when travelling to and from the academy. We are aware that there are two other additional entrances to the academy, one entrance in Copperhouse Road and the other at the bottom of our fields in Scholars Rise. Whilst some detailed planning of the implementation of this has to be considered I would like to ascertain from parents which is the preferred gate that your child/ren would use. We can then prioritise our next steps moving forward.
