Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your continued support during another busy week at the academy. 

This week, our pupils participated in the LAT 5-a-side tournaments in Dartford, and it has been a pleasure to see them represent the academy with such grace. Further tournaments are scheduled for next week.

Additionally, we have conducted further examinations for our Year 11 and Year 13 pupils. I would like to extend my congratulations to all for their resilience and hard work throughout this period. 

Our Year 12 pupils also enjoyed a trip to Brunel University, organised by our Performing Arts team, which provided them with valuable exposure to their future educational destinations.

This week, our Year 13 pupils finalised their UCAS applications, with a record number applying for university in September 2026. 

We have also launched a new initiative with our pupils and the local community, emphasising the importance of collaboration and support. Please find further details here: Community Ambassador Programme.

On Thursday evening, we hosted our Year 8 parents’ evening, and it was wonderful to welcome parents to the event and engage in such positive conversations with teachers. Thank you all for your support.

Looking ahead, next week will also be busy as we prepare for our cultural fashion show taking place on Wednesday. Pupils can sign up during their Period 1 lesson with their tutor.

Furthermore, we will continue our transition sessions for Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6, starting again on Wednesday at 4pm, with PE as the first subject.
