家長教師會的功能是多方面的。它可透過康樂、文化及教育活動，加強家長、教師和學校之間的了解，分享經驗，促進友好關係，令三方面的合作更緊密，共同為學生及學校謀取褔利。

它提供場所和機會，讓家長與教師就教育事宜作出討論；就學校政策提出意見；就改善學校的設施向校董會提出建議。

總而言之，家長教師會是家庭與學校溝通的橋樑，是家長與教師交換意見的場所，合作的平台，對學校培育學生成材作出有力的支援。

The functions of the Parent-Teacher Association are multifaceted. It can strengthen the understanding between parents, teachers, and schools through recreational, cultural, and educational activities, share experiences, promote friendly relationships, making the cooperation between the three parties closer, working together for the welfare of students and schools. 

The Association provides a place and opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss educational matters; to express opinions on school policies; to suggest improvements to the school’s facilities to the school board. 

To conclude, the Parent-Teacher Association is a bridge for communication between families and schools, a place for parents and teachers to exchange opinions, a platform for cooperation, and provides strong support for the school’s cultivation of students.
