Math

Our last day before Spring Break is a day to make sure all work has been turned in . Go to Google classroom for a list of assignments I am looking for you to "turn in". The easiest way is to take a picture and send it to me. If this will not work COMMUNICATE WITH ME and we will find a solution.

Pre-Algebra

You should have completed the activity on BuzzMath by this morning. If not, make sure it is done TODAY!

Today is the assessment/test on Chapter 8. You are welcome to use your spiral, but you should be completing the test on your own. I will be available from 9 - 2 to talk with you if you call the school office and go to my extension. Phone calls are forwarded to my cell. The test is a Google Form - go to Classroom to start. The test needs to be completed by 3pm TODAY.

Science

Test today. Go to Google Classroom and take the Google Forms test. MUST BE COMPLETED BY 3 PM TODAY.


Language Arts

  1. Complete the entire first draft of your essay, including the conclusion, by the end of today.

  2. Go to Classroom. I have posted one question about Tangerine to which everyone must respond today. We will have no more reading assignments until after vacation.

  3. Go to Classroom for your daily poem!

  1. If you finished the Interview Spreadsheet (thank you!), go to the new Day 11 Improve Your Spreadsheet , 1) watch the video what to fix, and 2) then fix/improve your spreadsheet. After the intro, you may slide to skip to your spreadsheet, although I thought it was fun to see what the other classmates came up with.

  2. If you did not start the Interview Spreadsheet, go to Google Classroom assignment Make a Spreadsheet from the Interviews and 1) watch the new video. You don't have to watch all of it, but it shows some examples. Then design a spreadsheet from one of the interview list. YOU MAY NOT COPY one done in the video, you must do it different.

CDA Day 11

Go to Google Classroom. Pick which assignment applies to you:

  1. If you finished the Still Life presentation, go to the Day 9 Learn how to make a Website to Display Your Creative Work, you will now have access to this assignment, and then practice making a website. Do not publish. Instructions in Google Classroom.

  2. If you did not turn in the Google Slides still art, as instructed, go to Google Classroom assignment Day 6 Presenting Still Life- Continuing and Finish MARCH 31 and finish putting your still life into a Slides presentation, image borders, title, and camera model.

DISSECTION DAY - Today we have a live lesson on Zoom at 10 am. I will be "dissecting" the grasshopper and if there's time, the crayfish. Once we are finished, there will be a slide presentation with pictures of structures that you need to focus on. Text your classmates to remind them!

Can you guess which team I will be representing?! What about you?

I have pushed the "test" from Friday to Tuesday. Friday will be a review day. No need to panic - you will be able to have access to your notes for the test. Hopefully your science binder is still organized.

Code It! Use It! Make It! (Monday/Wednesday Electives A and B)

  1. Topic: Continue project in your existing Tinkercad or Scratch accounts. Don't make a new account, use the one for our class.

  2. Watch this video explaining your independent project.

  3. Sign on to your account, contact me if you cannot log in.

  4. Assignment: Continue working on your own to improve an existing ORIGINAL file, or start a new one.

  5. 5 Points: In the assignment turn-in, take a screen shot when you are done working with your project today, and "add" it to the assignment. This screen shot is not the finished product, but to help you and I see progress each time. One of you has to send me the link to it.
    If you have questions, you can email me or do a private post in classroom. (I don't get notification though in classroom, but I'll see it when I open it next)

  6. Skills: drawing to scale, using dimensions, working with spacial drawing, planning, editing, critical thinking.

  3. Complete the M20 review guide before our zoom meeting on Thursday.
