Hello and Welcome to Third Grade! I am looking forward to teaching your kiddos and can't wait to meet you all in person!
My name is Leslie Anderson and I started my teaching career in the fall of 1994 and have always taught in Catholic Schools. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade and I am very excited about this new adventure at St. Paul's School. I attended St. Michael School in Worthington from 2nd to 8th Grade and went to St. Francis De Sales High School and graduated in 1988, GO STALLIONS!!! I graduated from Ohio Dominican University in 1993 with a BS degree in Education. I landed my first teaching job at St. Michael School and I have never looked back. I love everything about Catholic Education and I wouldn't want to change a thing!
I am married to Michael and we have 3 beautiful children. Paige is our oldest and she is 25. She married her High School sweetheart, Gabriel Genovesi and they live in High Point, North Carolina. Paige followed in my footsteps and is a 2nd Grade teacher. Julia is my middle child and she is 22. She graduated from Siena Heights in Adrian, Michigan where she played soccer. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business and has taken on a new role as a Graduate Assistant coaching the women's soccer team. My youngest is Ian! He is 18 years old and just graduated from St. Francis DeSales and will be attending Coastal Carolina University in the fall. He will be majoring in Marine Biology and is looking forward to living near the beach.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling to see my kids, the fall season (it is my favorite), watching Buckeye Football and Netflix, Decorating for Christmas (Is it too early to put up my tree?!), walking, and crafting!!! When I am not at school I am probably with one of my kids doing some exciting adventures now that everyone is in 3 different states! I am looking forward to this next phase as an empty nester.
