Announcements:
Reading Week 2026! READING IS AN ADVENTURE!
Monday: 3/16
Passport to Reading ~ wear a hat from a different country or place you have visited
Students will receive their Passport to Reading to log the books they read during the week
Students will decorate a book cover or book mark- these should be given to Regina Spero by the end of the day
Tuesday: 3/17
Reading Heroes ~ full uniform because of 9:00 mass
School wide DEAR time for 20 minutes 1:00pm
Wednesday: 3/18
Wacky Wednesday ~ wear wacky accessories- socks, hair, etc.
Grade level teacher swap for silly read aloud
Thursday: 3/19
Cozy Up with a Good Book ~ dress in cozy clothes! Pajamas or sweatpants
School wide read in- gather in your hallway at 1:15pm and everyone reads together for 10-15 minutes (students should bring a blanket, yoga mat or towel)
Author visit for all grades
Friday: 3/20
Celebrate Readers! ~ Students dress up as their favorite book character
Character parade! Grades can parade throughout the school at a time convenient for them (just like how it is on Halloween)

Please arrive at school by 8:20. We will enter under the red awning by security. Please look for the Pre-K 3 sign to ensure you are in the correct place. Dismissal will take place at 1:40 by the junior high and nursery buildings. If there is any change in dismissal, please send me a note in your child's folder or an email no later than 11:00.
All of your child's belongings should be labeled, including snacks, water bottles, sweatshirts, jackets etc.
Pre-Kindergarten Supply List
*Baby wipes
*Disinfectant Wipes (Clorox, Lysol, etc.)
*Tissues
*Paper towels
*Water-color paint set (8 colors)
*Broadline Markers (10 Count)
*24ct Box of Crayola Crayons
*Glue sticks
*Backpack, without wheels (Backpack must be large enough to fit a lunch box, a snack bag, a project, and a change of clothing.)
*A box of Ziploc bags: Girls~Sandwich size/Boys~Gallon size)
*Change of clothing in Ziploc bag to be kept in backpack.
*Standard size lunch box
*2 Pocket folder
Extra needed materials for specific projects throughout the year:
*1 adult small white crew neck t-shirt
*1 EMPTY coffee can OR 1 EMPTY 16 oz or 18 oz oatmeal container
*1 plain white baseball hat (This can be found at Michaels Craft Store.)
