I lecture on modern and contemporary literature, philosophy, theory, and film. Most of my research is conducted at the crossroads of literary and philosophical discourse. I've written on Michel Foucault, Samuel Beckett, Primo Levi, Jean-François Lyotard, Jean-Paul Sartre, Marguerite Duras, and Marcel Duchamp and have translated Lyotard, Michel Deguy, Jacques Derrida, Foucault, Paul Ricœur, and other French thinkers.
