Carbon dioxide concentrations have been rising at an unprecedented rate since the Industrial Revolution, leading to serious problems such as global warming, climate change, and worsening urban air quality. This project examines the drivers of this increase. It evaluates the environmental and societal consequences, including issues like deforestation and health risks, aiming to identify sustainable pathways and reduction measures for mitigating carbon emissions.
