Additional Resources

  • Math Learning Center

  • Videos to accompany our textbook made by the author, Sheldon Axler.

  • It is highly recommended to solve as many exercises from the book as you have time for. This will be more useful than rereading your class notes or textbook as it will often force you to go back to look at definitions and theorems anyway. The only way to truly learn proof-based mathematics is through practice. Feel free to ask one of the instructors about your solutions.

  • Previous MAT 310 webpages are available on the math department webpage.

  • Other textbooks: Linear Algebra by Friedberg, Insel, and Spence, Finite Dimensional Vector Spaces by Halmos, Linear Algebra Problem Book by Halmos
