Hi, I'm Lauren Hathaway and I am your 7th grade LA teacher. I have my Bachelor's in English and my Masters in the Art of Teaching at Central Connecticut State University. I love reading, writing, cooking, and hanging out with my kids. I also love learning about new technology!

Mr. McClenahan comes to Stonington Middle by way of Norwich Free Academy, where he taught ninth grade World History. He is originally from Maine but has lived here in Stonington since 2009. He is a dedicated Boston Celtics fan and outdoorsmen. Mr. Mac’s greatest accomplishments include hiking the entire Appalachian Trail in 2007 and being the proud parent of two wonderful kids. He cannot overstate how excited he is to join the SMS community and explore the world with his students!

My name is Kristina Torres and I love teaching science! I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Saint Joseph. I received my Masters in Education from the University of Connecticut. I am extremely passionate about science, art, traveling, and general nerdy things (video games, cosplay, anime, etc.).
