Statement of Nondiscrimination/Title IX
The Stone Valley Community Charter School prohibits discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, religious creed, age, marital status, military or veteran status, national origin, sex, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or past or present physical or mental disability.
Sexual harassment includes, but is not limited to, unwelcomed sexual advances, direct or indirect demands or requests for sexual favors, sexual comments, gestures or other physical actions of a sexual nature when:
Submission to such conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an individual's educational success
Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for educational decisions affecting such individual
Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's academic performance or creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive educational environment.
Grievance procedures are available which provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging violations of Title IX. These procedures are available to all participants, students, and employees via the Stone Valley Community Charter School website or student handbooks.

Complaint form instructions:
1. Download the Complaint Form.
2. Please complete all sections of the form.
3. Be as specific as possible when discussing the incidents. Your complaint is not limited to the space provided. You are encouraged to attach additional materials, which may assist in the investigation process.
4. Please be sure to include the: the date(s), the incident(s) that occurred, the name(s) of the person(s) involved, and the name(s) of those who may have witnessed the incident(s).
5. Sign it and email the form to either the District Title IX Coordinator, Cheryl Casner, ccasner@stonevalleyccs.org.
