STONE BLUE SOLUTIONS FOR BUILDING IN BUSH FIRE ZONES
When considering that a large proportion of the Australian geographical landscape is affected by bush fires in conjunction with Australia's increasing population and urban sprawl, Stone Blue Homes has been created in order to provide engineered solutions to building in Bush Fire Zones.
ABOUT STONE BLUE HOMES
The Stone Blue building method utilises natural Basalt in order to create a fire resistant barrier for your home and contents.
Basalt, with its inherently high melting point, will sustain a passing bush fire, where temperatures will exceed 800˚C at the fire face. The Victorian Olivine Basalt utilized in our technology has a high range melting point of approx. 1400˚C. This high buffer will ensure durability of the structure in the case of a fire event.
The Stone Blue design method founds itself deeply in tradition. Utilising time-tested construction products and methods, combined with our leading-edge engineered modifications, we are able to create durable designs utilising our Basalt (Bluestone), Granites and Sandstones in order to create durable homes that are luxurious and perform as designed.
By utilising natural stone in all of its abundance, we are removing the carbon footprint from our builds. We also utilise the Stone Blue proprietary building system in order to design for small to large scale seismic events and severe weather events such as hurricane and cyclones.
Engineered solutions for building with higher specifications and requirements for protecting your home and family. Our design process encompasses both structural and architectural requirements in order to build your Stone Blue Home irrespective of location, sloping blocks or rock foundations.
Stone Blue Homes create natural homes in a range of finishes and colours. From modern and contemporary minimalism, through to timeless period styled facades, your property will be contructed utilsing materials that will perform and look the part.
