Welcome to Stokewell Counseling! I'm Nejla, a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) and trauma specialist. With over ten years experience, I work with adults, adolescents, and older children (10+) who are experiencing anxiety, depression or PTSD. I have specialized training in treating trauma of all types: loss & grief, abuse, physical/medical, racial, secondary & more. Evidenced based treatment models such as EMDR and TF-CBT are tailored to meet you where you are and help guide you to feeling and functioning better. With warmth and wit, I provide therapy in a way that makes clients feel safe and heard. I invite you to come to therapy exactly as you are and express your full range of emotions.
