Students are discovering the connection that exists between the water cycle and weather. Location, geography, temperature are factors that contribute to weather changes over time. Identify stratus, cirrus, and cumulus clouds.
TECHNOLOGY
In this lesson, students will learn about information literacy. We will focus on effective ways to evaluate the quality and credibility of information and cover learning strategies that yield more credible results.
RELIGION
In all of creation, we can see that God’s design and plan for every aspect of life is good. Therefore, we can be confident in God and know that his instructions for living will lead to the best life we can live.
ENGINEERING & ART
Art and Engineering will be united when students utilize the ‘Design Thinking’ process to create an artistic solution to the essential question: How can I design art that imitates the weather? Designs will include either mechanical or electrical engineering components.
MATH
Students will collect data about current weather patterns in Houston, Chicago, and Cape town, Africa and build a table. Students will construct a line graph to interpret data and illustrate that line graphs depicts change of weather over a ten day period.
