We relate the butterfly’s life cycle to Jesus’ Resurrection. Inside the chrysalis, the caterpillar’s life ended, but it reemerges with a wonderful new butterfly life. Jesus died on the Cross. His sad friends put his body into a tomb. A tomb is a place where people are buried when they are dead. Then God raised Jesus from the dead. He came back to life! Jesus came out of the tomb with a wonderful new life.
