Class overview
In Physical Education class, I strive to get the kids to come out of their comfort zone, to learn new skills and basic teamwork. It is important for all children to participate and challenge themselves in new ways.
About me
My name is Mr. Nathan Doppes and I have been teaching since 2018. I was born and raised here in Cincinnati, Ohio. I attended Nativity School for grade school before graduating from Moeller High School in 2008. I attended the University of Cincinnati where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Administration.
With 14 years of Recreation and Special Events experience working for the City of Blue Ash, I decided to make a career change and pursue teaching. I have loved every second of teaching especially here at St. Michael School.
Class Objective
My class objective is to help them learn new things that they can use in their lives outside of school. Sports and Fitness and Exercise are great ways to stay connected, keep a healthy lifestyle, and meet new friends.
Exercise and fitness along with being active on a daily basis has proven to be a stress reliever and improve the overall health of both your mind and body. My goal is that each student leaves my class each day feeling better about their day. Whether it be getting a good sweat, making a new friend, or learning something new about a sports activity or game.
