Dear Parents,

Welcome to the beginning of an exciting adventure in Ms. Hendershot's classroom! I am honored to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher and am looking forward to working with you and your child. This will be a wonderful year full of growth and discovery. We will have many meaningful experiences and opportunities to learn and develop in the days ahead.

I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time you feel the need. You can write me a note and send it with your child, email me at chendershot@stmatthewelpaso.org, or contact me on remind (preferable). I will do my best to follow up with you as time allows. If I need to reach you with regards to your child, I will contact you by sending a note home, call you, email you or contact you on remind.
