This week, students are to complete, review, and revise any assignment from weeks 1 to week 8.

5th Grade Study Guide
In addition, students will be preparing for a test. Complete the math study guide sheet. This work will be extra points for your final. It is due on Friday, 5/22.
We are now into the Revolutionary War! Students will read and learn about the events of the War and how it ended.
All materials will be posted on Google Classroom at 9:30am.

Model Math- a real world problem is just like a word problem that you used to solve for #12 and 13. Look at the model and find the answer. Then find the two fractional parts by seeing the rows and columns being shaded.
Write about it- Explain how helpful it was to use the models to multiply fractions. What did you see?

What is a real world problem? This is a problem that would happen in the real world. Think about when you use fractions in the real world.
Remember, the difference of your problem is less than 2 1/2. Be sure to solve your problem.
For #19, you have to use your number sense to solve math problems. Number sense is the ability to understand numbers. Look at the whole number and fractions when you subtract. How does knowing this help you subtract mixed numbers?
