Dear 4th Grade Parents,
All work provided should be kept together neatly in a folder. All worksheet activities are due on the day we return to school (Monday, March 30th). You can also email your worksheets to me at jnowlin@stamaryofthemills.org or post your work on Class dojo in your portfolio. Please continue to review with your child's multiplication/division facts.

Multiplication/ Division Games
Over the last few weeks, the students have been playing games to help with their math fluency. I found some games and if you would like you are more than welcome to play them at home with no electronics.

This week, students are to complete an assessment on area, perimeter, and volume.
Please complete the google form before May 28th. Be sure to take your time and complete to the best of your ability.
Complete the google form below. I have changed it for students are only limited to 1 response but you are able to edit your responses when you are finished if you are not satisfied with the score.

- Play Kahoot game. You can play at any time against your classmates. Lets see who will be at the top! (Click on the Kahoot logo)

Hint for Hot Problems:
#18- In order to find two fractions greater than one, you will need to find two fractions where the numerator is larger than the denominator when you add them together. Remember! when you add fractions the denominator is the same.
#19- Explain step by step on how to add fractions. What can you do? What can you not do?

Welcome to Day one of Virtual Math Class! Last week you learned how to compare and order fractions with like and unlike denominators. Today you will use your skills to complete activity questions and a worksheet from the DynaMath magazine.
First you will need to log into Dynamath.
Click on the link to direct you to the dynamath magazine home page.
Select "Log In" on the right hand side of the home page.
Select "I am a Student"
Enter the class code "missno2020"
In the search box, type in "Fashion Goes Green"
Complete the activity below:
Watch the video "Fashion Victims"
Read the DynaMath article "Fashion Goes Green". (April 2018)
Answer the four word problems at the bottom of the article on a separate sheet of paper or you can use the Google Form on the left.
Save your work. Be sure to write neatly and clearly.
