Parent Session

Why have the "Parent Only Session?"

Choosing to be confirmed is a huge step to be taken by your child. Because it is such a big step, there are important requirements, tasks, and questions that come along with it. The parent session serves as a great opportunity to explain the reasons behind all these requirements and tasks and for me to answer any of the questions that you might have for your child or their sponsor as they approach this important Sacrament.

Further, we would like this to be an opportunity for you as a parent to be filled with the Holy Spirit so you might be better able to prepare your child to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. This session will give you a small taste of what the students will be doing this year as they prepare to receive the Sacrament during their Super Sunday sessions.

This session is mandatory, so I ask that both parents of all the students make it a priority to come to this session. If one of you cannot make it, it is still better that one of you attends than no one. This session will start at 1:30 PM and should end around 4 PM. Again, please do all that you can to make it.
