Mrs. Mullen's Pre-kindergarten Class

I feel blessed and fortunate to be part of the St. Mary’s faculty. My bachelor’s and master’s degrees were received at St. John’s University. I am licensed in New York State and NYC Public Schools, I previously taught first and third grade. My passion was found when I began to teach pre-kindergarten approximately ten years ago. God always puts me on the right path and I certainly enjoy teaching early childhood.

I am excited to teach my students letter, number and shape recognition, science, religion, social studies, art and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). We will be reading books, completing crafts, dancing to songs, using educational toys and the smart board while using fine and gross motor skills in order to grow academically, socially and emotionally. The students in my classroom are always engaged in fun activities while learning.

I firmly believe parents and teachers are a true partnership that require frequent communication.
