Entry Recommendations: 

Open entry, NCEA Level 2 Textile Technology is an advantage. Students who have completed the Level 2 course will have priority entry. 

Course Outline: 

This course addresses the requirements of the technology achievement standards through a comprehensive project-based approach. These skills are all developed around specifications that the student has written regarding a specific innovative materials-based need and opportunity. The students will also create prototypes using complex procedures and applied design techniques.

Course Costs: 

All costs of materials used in the construction of the design solution are the responsibility of the student.

Assessment: 

Components of this course will be selected from the following standards to suit individual learning needs. Technology Scholarship is also offered.
