Course Outline: 

Drama is a collaborative and a practical subject that encourages discovery through practical inquiry, experimentation, risk taking and performance.

This course will enable students to:

• Practically explore the specific skills, elements, techniques, and technologies of drama.

• Generate, transform, and refine artistic ideas through practical experimentation and reflection.

• Present, share, and respond to dramatic works and performances.

• Discover how drama reflects and shapes cultures, societies, and histories in Aotearoa and globally.

Course Outline: 

This course builds on the skills developed in Year 11 Drama.  It is a course of study that students will help design themselves and it prepares students for Level 3 Drama.
