Course Outline:
Drama is a collaborative and a practical subject that encourages discovery through practical inquiry, experimentation, risk taking and performance.
This course will enable students to:
Practically explore the specific skills, elements, techniques, and technologies of drama.
Generate, transform, and refine artistic ideas through practical experimentation and reflection.
Present, share, and respond to dramatic works and performances.
Discover how drama reflects and shapes cultures, societies, and histories in Aotearoa and globally.
Course Outline:
This course builds on the skills developed in Year 11 Drama. It is a course of study that students will help design themselves and it prepares students for Level 3 Drama.
