Happy Feast Day Saint Frances of Rome ~ March 9th ~
Prayer To Saint Frances Of Rome
Merciful Father, in Saint Frances of Rome you have given us a unique example of love in marriage as well as in religious life. Keep us faithful in your service, and help us to see and follow you in all the aspects of life. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Sign up for trivia with Saint Joseph!
Thursday, March 18 at 7:00 pm
Saint Joseph's feast day is coming, and our parishes are excited to celebrate with a trivia night! We'll gather via Zoom at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 18 (the Vigil of the Solemnity of Saint Joseph) for an evening of family-friendly, Joseph-themed, bar-style trivia hosted by Andrew Hennessy, our Director of Faith Formation. Questions will range from the religious to the ridiculously fun, and this is a great chance for some mid-Lent merriment with fellow parishioners. All parishioners and friends of both St. Leonard and St. Frances of Rome parishes are invited. Click on the link below for more details and to sign up!

Faith Formation Updates
Teen Gatherings during Lent - first one this Sunday, March 14!
The teenagers at our parishes have asked to gather in person this Lent, and we’ve decided we can do it!
Sunday March 14th, 21st, and 28th, we’re going to get together (physically distanced and hopefully outdoors) and… let the kids decide what we should do! We’ll have a number of resources for human, spiritual, and intellectual exploration on the table, but most of all, we want to just give our teens a chance to see each other and share.
We’ll plan to meet for the first time on Sunday, March 14 at St. Frances of Rome’s courtyard (or Reception Hall, if the weather doesn't cooperate) at 4 pm and hang out until about 5:30. Meeting on the 21st will be at the same location. On Sunday the 28th we will be able to gather at St. Leonard.
Get in touch with Andrew for details.

Leonard Ladies Lenten Journey: Imagine
Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 17 at 7:15 pm via Zoom
The next meeting of the Leonard Ladies series Imagine will take place on Wednesday, March 17 at 7:15 pm via Zoom. Our discussion this week will be based on “Episode 7 - The Last Supper” of the podcast Imagine: A Guide to Jesuit Prayer. After you listen and pray with this episode, we encourage you to ponder the following questions:
As you imagine the scene of Jesus washing the disciples' feet, what words, images, emotions, or other details stand out in your prayer?
What is it like for you to imagine being present at the Last Supper - what details and emotions stand out to you as you hear some very familiar words at this meal?
Peter did not want Jesus to wash his feet. Have there been times you tried to help someone and they refused your service? Do you find it difficult to accept help from others?
How do you perceive that Jesus is speaking to you through this prayer experience?
This link will take you directly to this podcast episode on the America website. You can also access additional reflection resources here!

Lent 2021: SUSTAINABILITY IN EL SALVADOR
Drought has become a big problem across El Salvador, making it difficult for farmers to produce enough crops to support their families. But new farming techniques—and a new generation of young farmers—are making a difference. What would you do if your livelihood was threatened? How can you support young people in your community and around the world? Visit the website below to learn more. To hear about the global mission of the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl Program, see the video from CRS President and CEO Sean Callahan.
Rice Bowls are available in the church entrances of St. Frances of Rome and St. Leonard.

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION
“For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them.” Ephesians 2:10
Our good deeds go beyond just giving money to charity. Stewardship is not about how we spend our money, but about how we spend our lives.
