Letter from Mrs. Thomas about Library

Dear Parents, 

Welcome to the St. Lawrence Library! 

In library class, we reviewed our library rules and how to properly care for books. Please review these important book care rules with your child by reading and coloring the My Book Care Book, which was sent home in a clear, zippered bag. 

After reviewing the book care rules, please sign the front or back cover of the My Book Care Book and return it to school on your child’s next library day. Please place it inside the library bag. Your child’s library day is noted on the tag attached to the bag. 

Library Book Checkout:
Your child may select a new library book each week as long as the previous week’s book has been returned. Each week, your child MUST return the library book from the previous week in order to select a new book. This helps ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy and explore new books throughout the year. 

I hope you and your child enjoy reading the wonderful books they select each week!
