Amanda Berger, Obl.S.B.

Amanda Berger serves as the Director of Spiritual Growth at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Minnesota. She graduated from Luther Seminary in 2005 with a MA in Youth and Family Ministry. Amanda has worked at St. Philip the Deacon since 2006—in youth ministry, as a teacher, retreat leader, writer and certified yoga instructor. Also, as a certified spiritual director trained through Christos Center for Spirituality, Amanda brings her knowledge of contemplative prayer practice, Benedictine spirituality and spiritual growth to anything she leads. She is delighted to share her own faith journey with others looking to deepen their relationship with Jesus. She is a published author and magazine editor, and contributes regularly to various publications. Amanda is also a wife, mother, and an oblate at St. Paul’s Monastery. She lives in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
