School Supply List - 2022-2023
Grades 7 and 8
I In preparation for the school year, listed below are the items students will need to help set them on a path of success. Personal electronic devices, including phones, are not permitted for use in the school. Phones are to be turned off & kept in backpacks at all times.
For 7th & 8th grade, we are not pre-ordering the copybooks - therefore, there will be NO Becker Box fee in September. All items should be purchased directly at the store of your choice – be on the lookout for sales over the summer!
STUDENT SUPPLIES
Accordion style/expandable poly folder with cord closure
Two - 2-pocket folder for Reading Workshop and test folder
Marble Composition copybooks (no spiral theme notebooks permitted)
7th Grade - 7 copybooks
8th Grade - 5 copybooks (we will re-use Religion copybook from last year - stored in room 206 over the summer)
Pencil Case with blue/black ballpoint style pens, erasable pens, four #2 lead pencils, (no mechanical pencils permitted), extra erasers, red pen/pencil for marking
● Color pencils/markers for student use in classes throughout the day.
● 2 highlighters
● Glue Stick
● Clear transparent tape
Scissors
12” ruler
Crayons (12 or 24 pack)
2 Dry Erase markers
● 1 pack of index cards
● 1 pack of loose leaf paper - 100 sheets is sufficient
● Mini-stapler
● A pair of earbuds to keep in backpack for use in all classes.
Rosary Beads
8th grade only – for Science:
one flexible poly/plastic binder - no larger than 1” or 1 1/2” (large binders will not fit in desks)
Index tabs (dividers) for binders
ROOM SUPPLIES:
● 3 boxes of unscented tissues is fine
● 2 containers of disinfectant wipes
Students in 7th & 8th grade use their backpack to switch from room to room, so no tote bag is needed. All copybooks, soft cover textbooks, etc., should be covered with clear contact paper at home during the first 2 weeks of school.
