Third Class is a very busy year in St. Joseph's. As well as working very hard in all subjects, the girls learn how to knit & how to do joined writing for the first time. They learn new GAA skills, go swimming, sing with the school choir, practice fundamental movement skills in P.E., take part in the Longford County Athletics Competition and perform on stage for the school either at Christmas or at Halloween. The 3rd class girls always put on a spectatcular performance too for Seactain na Gaeilge showcasing their dancing skills.
