Week of November 3rd.   Hello all!  A special thank you to Mrs. Rivera and Mrs. Johnson for preparing such a wonderful Halloween party for the students on Thursday!  The kids had a blast!  Also, thank you all for taking the time for conferences.  Your children are wonderful!   Here's a look at our week!

• Religion:  Chapter 8/Unit 2:  Jesus calls us to give ourselves in love.  Unit 2 test Friday, Nov. 7th.

• Fundations:    Unit 5: Vowel Teams "au" and "aw."  Syllable division.  "Ic" and "ick."  Suffixes: ness, less, ful, ment, able, en, ish.  Prefixes: mis, un, non, dis, trans.  Unit 5 test Friday, Nov. 7th.

• Math:  Chapter 4: Addition 2 Digit Numbers. With and Without Regrouping.  This can be challenging, so please be sure to complete homework and review!  Test Nov. 14th.

• ELA:  Story this week!  Focus: How Does Exploring Help us Understand the World Around us?  Story:  Puddle Puzzle.  Skills:  Sequencing, Story Maps, Reading Comprehension - Ask and Answer Questions, Elements of Drama.

Reminders:

• Please sign your child's Assignment book each night.

• Thanksgiving Break begins Nov. 26th.  School resumes Monday,

 Dec. 1st.
