2022 Exchange Programme with CHMS No. 4

On 24th October 2022, SJPS Chinese Music Club organised a physical exchange programme alongside Chung Hua Middle School No. 4. 

The programme started off with each club introducing the history of their club and sharing some of their achievements with each other. Then, each group got the chance to talk to each other and one person was chosen to represent each group to share the name, age and instrument played by every member of the group. 

After the initial icebreaking, we had a round of musical chairs before we faced the final challenge, on the spot ensemble performance. Each group was given a random song and 30 minutes to put together a performance. The coach of CHMS no.4 became the judge and awarded group 5 as the champions of this little competition.

Overall, it was a great experience for members of both clubs to meet like-minded people and get to learn more about performing as an ensemble. We are grateful to be able to visit the CHMS no.4 campus and we look forward to more collaborations like this in the future!
