Pre-K & K are not required to complete any activities, but please feel free to use the ideas below for some creative activities to do in the next few weeks!

Creativity Log - Link to Printable Creativity/Art Log

Please print the log (or complete on a sheet of loos- leaf if you do not have printing capabilities)

Log students Art and creative activities. Due with a parent signature when we return.

Try to challenge your children to be creative for at least 30 minutes each week. Log their activities.

This can be as simple as drawing with a pencil. This can also be as creative and complex as your imagination and the materials you already have at home allows.

Absence:

Students are responsible for missing work due to absence and band. Students in grades 3-5 should contact the teacher to find out what they missed. Sometimes absent work can be made up in class, and sometimes work can be made up at recess or taken home to complete.

Supplies:

Pre-K-3: All students need to have a smock. These will be kept in their home rooms and used on an as needed basis. An old t-shirt is fine, but it should be big enough to cover the uniform shirt. Not too big that it's arms droop into the paint!

4-5: All students in 4th grade need to have a smock. These will be kept in their home rooms and used on an as needed basis. An old t-shirt is fine, but it should be big enough to cover the uniform shirt. 4th and 5th grade also need a 3 prong folder to make a sketchbook. These will be kept in the Art room. Students also bring their pencil case with them to class with sharpened pencils.

6-8: All students need a SPIRAL or HARDBOUND sketchbook. They are to bring it to class with them every week. Students also bring their pencil case with them to class. Students should have regular wooden pencils available for drawing. Mechanical pencils DO NOT work for observational drawing and shading.
