Family Fully Alive

Family Fully Alive

Family Fully Alive has become a wonderful faith community, created around fellowship and food! Developed after the 2015 World Meeting of Families, it includes a monthly family dinner and presentation with hands-on family and child activities. These meetings offer our families an opportunity to come together in faith to focus on and recommit to the mission of love given to us through our baptism in Christ. Based on the Church’s beautiful teachings on the family, Family Fully Alive looks more closely at our basic beliefs about Jesus and presents ideas and ways to connect our contemporary Catholic families into the Church.

Our intention is to build strong families of faith in our parish community. In October 2013, Pope Francis stated:

“The life of a family is filled with beautiful moments: rest, meals together, walks in the park or the countryside, visits to grandparents or to a sick person…But if love is missing, joy is missing, nothing is fun. Jesus always gives us that love: he is its endless source. In the sacrament he gives us his word and he gives us the bread of life, so that our joy may be complete.”

We don’t know for sure what Family Fully Alive will look like this year…but we will keep you informed throughout the year!!!

We encourage you to walk your faith journey with your children.

We recognize the vital role that parents have in shaping their children’s faith.

Visit our Children's Garden

Family Fully Alive cultivates a "Children's Garden" next to the Rectory. The garden is planted in May, with a bonfire and cookout.

Families are encouraged to visit the garden and share in the joy of God's blessings.

Help with tending to the weeds and watering, and harvest delicious, organic cucumber, eggplant, tomatoes, kale, and many others!
